Letter to Blog Peeps

 Dear Precious Blog Peeps...

With the holidays speeding toward us, whether we are ready for them or not, I had to make a decision.

For the past five years,  Writing Straight from the Heart has been written seven days a week!

It has truly been an exercise of sheer  joy, love, perseverance and self-discipline.

However, as this year's holidays approach, I am going to make some changes on the number of blog posts written.

Because I want to read others' blogs more  as well as do more freelance writing, Writing Straight from the Heart  will no longer be written daily.

Posts will probably be a couple or a few times a week plus weekends.

Some days there may be just a photograph with a short message.

Change, although painful, is good for both people and blogs!

You are the best readers a blogger can possibly have so I hope the changed schedule of posting will not deter you from checking in to Writing Straight from the Heart.  (That would cause a broken heart------mine!)

Truly, I think most of you will understand time constraints and a myriad of obligations.

With all my heart, I thank you for reading this blog all these years (five) and hope you will stick with me because I love all of this blog's readers and Followers.

Hugs to all.  Susan

  2. Susan you KNOW I understand TOTALLY. So m any of us have had to do this. We went like heck at first - but it is hard to keep up the pace. We love it, but have learned we have other things pressing us.

    I will be here.

I know you are struggling with this decision. Hugs.

  6. I completely understand, and I applaud your decision to listen to what your heart is telling you to do. I, too, have had to take a step back from blogging. After all, there really IS life away from the computer.

    Blessings,

  12. Times change, Susan, and life gets in the way, which is a blessing, not a complaint. My blogging patterns have changed, too. Take care of YOU! xo

  13. Your perseverance is commendable, Susan. I can't imagine writing a blog post seven days a week for five years. I admire anyone who can do that and live to tell about it. :)

Please take your time off and away from the blog. We'll be here.

  14. I have so enjoyed reading your blog and commenting, but I can totally understand the time constraints. A few times a week and maybe weekends sounds like a good compromise. Will look forward to continued reading of your inspiring blog.

  19. Oh Yes, Susan, I totally understand. It's hard to keep up sometimes, isn't it? We only post every three days, which is an average of three times a week. This will give the readers a chance to not have to comment so frequently. I think this is respectful to them as well. I think this will be a great change for you, my friend. Your posts are always so precious.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

    love,
    ~Sheri

  20. Oh Susan, you don't have to worry. I have always marveled at your posting. I have had such a difficult time this year keeping up on with my blogging.
I think your blogger friends will be there with you even if you posted like most of us. Enjoy the holidays and don't worry. Love ya,
    Linda
