A Perfect Fit



One of my dearest friends sent me a beautiful ornament two Christmases ago.

 I believe it's a  Russian ornament depicting the Blessed Mother and her sweet baby.

I loved it at first sight and still do. It's quite exquisite.

 This past Christmas, another dear, long-time friend gave me a beautiful brass stand to hang something on.

The Russian ornament was an absolute perfect fit.

As you see, neither the stand nor the ornament made it up to the attic after Christmas. 

 I want to keep them out year-round.

 Since both came from beloved friends, seeing the ornament on the stand makes me doubly happy.

    Yes it is much more special when I friend gives it to you. Yesterday I got a lovely PRADA purse from a dear friend for my birthday and I absolutely LOVE it. Your ornament is gorgeous....
