Teddy bears almost always bring a smile to the face.
Somebody made the pink rose-covered one, shown above.
Pink and white chenille fabric is incorporated into it, the kind one usually sees in a bedspread.
The minute I saw the little sweetheart at a thrift shop, I knew she had to come home with me.
The red and gold teddy, below, another thrift store find, helped decorate the hallway for Christmas.
He's so elegant that I let him stay for Valentine's Day, too.
HAVE YOU EVER COLLECTED TEDDY BEARS?
Hi sweet Susan! Your bears are darling! I especially like the bear with roses on it.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week! Hugs
I do not collect anything but I know YOU do...Enjoy these little bears and I know your grandchild will too!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these bears are quite endearing. I do like to decorate with bears or other little faux animals. They add whimsy and bring smiles.
ReplyDeleteIt is exciting to see Valentine posts popping up in blog land...it means that Spring is not far off. I love teddy bears...i only have one that my daughter gave me years ago. I sometimes hug it , or sleep with it when i am not feeling well. I do hope you received my thank you card that i sent to you for winning your giveaway. It feels good to be back to my blog...and to visit my favorite blogs.
ReplyDeleteI have my "fair share" of Beanie Baby bears that correlate with the holiday at hand.:-) One of our daughters LOVED her bear when she was a child. In fact, it is still with her!:-)
ReplyDeleteYour bears are sweet like you. Gosh I bet your granddaughter loves coming to your house!
ReplyDeleteIs that red teddy bear covered with roses, oh my! My mother used to collect bears, and when she passed away, we each got one of her bears. When my girls travel, they take their grandma's bear with them every where they go. Yes, I adore bears, Susan.
