A Spot of Tea
The other afternoon the thought of a snack sounded good.
The thing is, my body didn't really need a snack.
So I brewed myself a spot of hibiscus tea and served it in my favorite rose-covered cup.
This is a most delicious, floral-tasting tea that is a rich, ruby color.
There's only one place around here that sells pure, organic hibiscus tea.
Unfortunately, I have never been able to find it in the regular supermarkets.
Many teas list hibiscus as one of the ingredients but never alone so finding it turned out to be a real boon.
Once a teaspoon of sugar was added to it, it tasted even more delicious.
Snack was averted, thanks to a spot of tea.
WHAT IS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE TEA?
Lovely tea cup!!
ReplyDeleteCinnamon is my favorite!!
Hugs,
Deb
Enjoy your spot of tea and your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI could once give you my favorite, but that has changed. Now it's anybody's guess.:-) Sometimes a cup of tea doesn't take care of that need for a snack, though.:)
ReplyDeleteNow that's a relaxing photo!
ReplyDeleteAhh....tea.
Hello from Spain: I like to drink tea with hibiscus. A cup of hot tea is very healthy. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteJasmine tea is my very favorite tea. I just love the smell and flavor of it.
ReplyDeleteIn the morning I usually have one cup of Earl Grey with sugar and evaporated milk in it. That's the only tea I usually have for the day.
In the evening I like Jasmine. I do not need to add anything to that flavor...no milk and no sugar. Yum.
Trouble is that a cup of tea has come to MEAN a snack here! Oh, the weather is so lovely here today! Unbelievable that it was only three days we were cold and under snow and ice. We took dog for walk..sat on deck with glasses of tea...ah, might make it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love tea... I drink green, black, pu'erh, herbals, oolong, you name it. My favourite tea is Dragonwell green tea which I have almost every morning. I totally get what you're saying about tea as a snack because I've done it many times. Tea can be a lovely snack and it's healthy too. :)
ReplyDeleteYour teacup is beautiful! I love French Vanilla tea.
ReplyDelete... Hello Susan..... My favourite tea is plain Ceylon breakfast tea.... I drink this with milk, no sugar... and have about 6 a day..... I love it....
ReplyDeleteYour cup and saucer is beautiful...
Hugs... Barb xxx
