There's just something intriguing about bird cages.
They are all the rage in decorating these days.
There's one on our enclosed side porch adorned with apricot colored roses.
If spring ever comes, I'll be able to get out there to see it again.
In the Red Lion Inn Gift Shop, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, several bird cages, seen in this post, hang from the ceiling.
There are strings of white lights around them and they look so picturesque.
Couldn't help but snap photos of them.
DO YOU DECORATE AT ALL WITH BIRD CAGES?
I can see big bird in there like
ReplyDeleteparrots but small birds hardly unless you have like 15 or so flying inside. I seen them in Mexico while I was there with parrots in and out sitting on the
perches.
I like the decoration of them though.
I guess people use them for other purposes. Do you know what they are used for?
Thanks for sharing.
Sorry I did see you explained what they are used for. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWe have a decorative bird cage hanging in the corner of our master bedroom. I love that cage. I've never kept a bird inside the house though.

ReplyDeleteI agree that there's something intriguing about bird cages.
I have half a small birdcage hanging on a wall with greenery. I noticed a cardinal and blue jay yesterday in the back yard.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, yes, I do love antique bird cages. I have one on the top of my hutch. I put one of those light up branches in mine and it goes on every evening. Hope spring comes someday to NE!
