Time at the Beach

The weather in our part of Massachusetts has been gorgeous lately---sunny and not-too-hot or humid.

These are the perfect days of summer that will remain firmly in memory when Old Man Winter blows his chilly gusts.

Having a quick getaway to change the day-to-day scene adds to summer's joys.

We recently came back from an overnight jaunt to Rockport, MA,  a most charming seaside town.

Our  hotel, Captain's Bounty on the Beach, was very appropriately named.

From our rooms, all of which directly faced the ocean, we had about a one and a half minute walk to the beach!

We will be showing you lots of Rockport over the next few days so, if you are interested, come back to visit!

Ahhhhh, summer getaways are the best!

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO GO FOR A CHANGE OF SCENE?

  3. Oh the beach is fifteen minutes away from me all year round. I love going to the pool, the lake and the beach especially in the summer. I'm off to another state for a get a way and change of scene too.

  5. ... what a lovely Place for a break away from the everyday.....
We don't do holidays or weekends away at my place..... sounds boring, I know... but Mum's not up to the travelling and, to be honest, I like the routine of our days at home.....
    Have a lovely day Susan....
