Enjoying the "Now" Moments

Life is so unpredictable most of the time.

There are many moments of disappointment, drudgery, and even deep sorrow.

But there are so many wonderful moments, too.

On the grand scale of things, the good outweigh the bad.

The payoff for many years of experience in life is the ability to appreciate each moment of life.

The littlest things bring such satisfaction----the pure, sweet laughter of my granddaughter; receiving photos of my handsome little grandson---looking into his innocent eyes and seeing the thrill of his discovering the world;  the daily blessing of spending precious moments with my husband of many years; and on and on.

Coming out of the supermarket this week, there was an array of bright, lovely pumpkins, waiting for homes.

It was a joy to look at them.

It's not always easy to live in the moment but it's extremely rewarding.

ARE YOU ABLE TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT?

  1. Good morning Susan,
I love your pix and your words in this blog post. Yes, life just seems to move by so quickly and I don't always
"enjoy the journey" as my friend from MT puts it. I am working on it! Love to you ....

  3. Wow what a lot of pumpkins...I guess it's that time of year. I just have one on my "porch" and it's artificial..I remember seeing the little ones above your door last year when I was there in October. Have a great day!

  4. I really love to live in the moment, Susan. Me and my son are going to the show today, and I hope it's a good movie, but just spending time with him makes the day special.

This picture of the pumpkins is wonderful. I love seeing orange pumpkins this time of year.

Have a good week, living in the moment, and thank you for this gentle reminder.

    love, ~Sheri
