Snow?
In October?
Before Halloween even?
Yup.
It arrived Sunday afternoon.
Luckily, the few million or so flakes that fell were different from their winter cousins.
They looked more like dry laundry detergent than flakes.
They came quickly and disappeared the same way.
Whew! That was quite a scare and it's not even Halloween yet.
DO YOU HAVE SNOW WHERE YOU LIVE?
I'm in Georgia so we seldom get snow where I live but who knows with this crazy weather!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, I am catching up with blogs. Your bridge photo is spectacular. Your shelf is darling, and in St. Louis, MO we get a few snows, somewhere between November and February, with January bringing the heaviest about 6 inches. Ice paralyzes the city, but snow just makes people drive crazy. I am not ready for winter.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here...90 degree temperatures in October instead
ReplyDeleteI can;t believe you got a little snow already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am near Linda - sometimes we do, but it is rare - turns to ice - stops the whole city - then goes away fast.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here. :) I was shocked too to hear it coming up there so soon. Maybe this will be it for the season!
ReplyDeleteThis post nearly stopped my heart! I can NOT bear the thoughts of snow and winter yet! I so love the autumn and it is going toooo fast as it is without hearing your four letter word!~
ReplyDeletePretty photos, snowflakes and all :) So good stopping by after my time away! I've missed you!
ReplyDeleteIt was quite a sight wasn't it? Real snow flurries blowing around with the falling leaves! It was a good day to be inside by the fire with a dog on your lap and a cup of tea by your side. Got a little practice for what's to come.
ReplyDeleteSupposed to be 60 plus for several days, so that will be a treat. May get a chance to sit out in the "golden snow" and watch the landscape turn from it's October glory to it's November somberness. "To every season there is a purpose under heaven".
Wow are weather really is goofy.. I don't know.. Happy Monday my dear..with love Janice
ReplyDeleteYes Susan, we do get snow here, and I love the way it turns the most ordinairy scenes into exquisite vistas! I hope you get to enjoy your beautiful golden Autumn for a few more weeks yet! xx
ReplyDeleteNo never snowed here while I have been living.
ReplyDeleteMerle................
Oops! I saw that someone on Instagram posted there was snow in New York. Still hot and humid here.
ReplyDeleteSNOW ALREADY?!! I live in an area where we usually don't get the snow, but if we travel up to the mountains, about an hour away, we can enjoy this white loveliness.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures today, Susan.
