Remember the Little Ones
Today, the last Sunday before wonderful Thanksgiving in the USA, my thoughts go, once again, to the children of the world who are suffering.
Seeing sad faces of children who should be enjoying happy childhoods makes me sad, too.
Children of war break my heart in two.
They are the innocent ones. They never asked to be brought into this world.
As bombs crash around them, what must go through their little minds?
I see the faces of sheer fear and bewilderment, too.
Why do we do this to children? Why?
It's so hard to write about happy things like holiday decorations and baking and so on when children are suffering needlessly because of adult decisions.
Why can't we live in peace and appreciate every moment we have on earth?
Today, bless all the little children everywhere.
WHAT CAN WE DO FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD?
Well i do think children are innocent and need special prayers.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I feel the same way. I wish I could unhear what I heard about the atrocities to children. It hurts my heart. Blessings to you and yours today.
ReplyDelete" Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, black and yellow, red and white, they are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world".Just keep that in mind Susan.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, it is hard to celebrate when so many suffer. I think we have to go on, just do so without forgetting. Sometimes the suffering of the world is in so many places, I become overwhelmed and just sort of give up inwardly. That is not an answer either.
ReplyDeleteAll we can do is look after our own, but there are many children suffering in the world, sad but true.
ReplyDeleteMerle.............
... it's all sad... what's happening in the world is heart breaking.....
ReplyDeletePrayers and more prayers..... that's what I do.
Hugs... Barb xxx
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteMy heart is saddened right along with your Susan. Not only the children on foreign soil but the children right here in our midst, that are abused, locked in closets for years, abducted, starved...it is indeed a sad world for these children. What can one do? Thanks for sharing your heart with us.
Also thanks for your recent visit and comment, I really appreciate it.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Gina
Children are God's special little people. They should be cared for, protected, and loved. Your angel is perfect for this post, Susan.
