The Christmas Dolls

Every year, right after Thanksgiving is over,  there is a rotation of dolls in the dining room cupboard!

The dollies in pink and other pastel dresses, with a few exceptions, such as seen in this post,  are brought upstairs to a small room at the end of the hallway.

Down come those dressed primarily  in green and red!

Personally, I love dolls!

A couple of Victorian ladies, dressed in pink and peach, still remain because I think they are so pretty!

AS A CHILD, DID YOU HAVE A FAVORITE DOLL?

  1. SO Christmas begins. Love your dolls - every time I go somewhere and see one similar I think of you. I had two dolls as a child - Chatty Kathy and Posey. I still have Posey! Have a good day.

  2. n't remember a favorite doll except for Barbie! I did enjoy playing with her and sewing clothes for her.

My granddaughter has a favorite doll named Baby Rose. She has no interest in any other dolls, just Rose. She plays many activities with Rose and always wants her in the car.

Your doll collection is extensive and I know you loved having dolls since you were very young. I do remember the old shed in your backyard where all your dolls resided.

  4. I think I like your doll with the red coat and brown fur the best. It looks Christmassy and just right for the season.

Yes, I love dolls, especially cloth dolls. A blog friend send me a doll from her home in France that she made, and I'd have to say that was my favorite. She looks just like me, so she sent it to me as a gift. I will keep her forever.

    love, ~Sheri
