Today, on this fine Sunday in November, our hearts go out to the people of Paris.
Once again, the acts of cowards have resulted in much sorrow and loss of human life.
It's frightening to think such acts of wanton destruction will continue and equally as perplexing to figure out a way to stop the violence.
May you find peace today and have time to be with loved ones.
If you are a praying person, stop for a few seconds and say a little prayer for those in Paris who will feel deep sorrow today.
Remember those whose lives have been senselessly snuffed out as well as those whose lives have been forever altered.
We must all remember and hope for an end to the lunacy.
HOW DO YOU THINK THE VIOLENCE CAN BE STOPPED?
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit. You are so faithful to stop by, especially my Christmas Pudding, and leave a nice comment.
It is indeed a sad time we live in. So much senseless violence and suffering going on. Unfortunately, we are told that as long as we are on the earth there will be wars and rumors of wars because we live in a fallen world. It is up to each of us to try to live in peace and love our neighbour. If we could all do that, it would get better but we know there are those who only wish to have power and wish to bring harm on to others.
In the meantime, we will pray for the people in Paris and other countries where the innocent are suffering. The Lord help us!
Blessings,
Sandi
Susan you echo my sentiments. I have felt so sad, and thankfully I read your post too fast and thought your last line said, "We must stop the laundry." I was going to respond with RIGHT ON! I guess I still can. At least I laughed at myself.
ReplyDeleteI don't Susan - I think since the beginning of time - from Old Testament and before there was always violence and the end of the world will be ended by it. It was a sad thing what happened in Paris and my heart goes out to them.
