How Sweet It Is-----The Kitchen Candy Tree

Since so much time during the Christmas season is spent in the kitchen, this year I decided to add a tree to that room!

It's a candy tree and sits on the edge of one of the kitchen counters.

It's  been a hit with little visitors, that's for sure.

There are lollipops on it and candy canes in different  colors.

The gingerbread people are for looking only because they are made of resin.

The lights on the tree are multi-colored and cheerful.

Nearby are white and regular chocolate lollipops  which I made. They are in a Santa teapot!

And around the bottom of the candy tree is a tiny manger scene as well as six of my all time favorite reindeer bears!

How sweet it is, this little candy tree!

HAVE YOU EVER MADE A CANDY CHRISTMAS TREE?

  5. Gosh I bet there are a lot of kidlets who love that tree - and I think it is so cute myself. Very pretty and colorful and I like the reindeer.

  6. What a great idea for the kitchen. Yes, we do seem to spend a lot of time in the kitchen this time of year what with baking and making dinner for guests and just plain cooking.

I usually have a tree decorated with just bird and lights in the room right off the kitchen, but decided there just wasn't time for it this year. After seeing your post, I think I will put a table top tree(which I have somewhere in the attic!) in there where I can see it from the kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration!

  9. Gingerbread and candy cane lollipops, what a delightful tree, Susan. It must look so cute in your kitchen. And your Santa cup is sooooo cute. I've never seen one quite like that with the glasses. Where did you find him?

Have a merry and bright Christmas season.

    love, ~Sheri
