The Christmas tree in the dollhouse has been moved in front of the bay windows this year.
It has red and green blinking lights and, of course, lots of presents around it.
The sweet manger scene is on a small rug in the front part of the living room, to the left.
The dolls' mini-Santa Claus collection is on the staircase again, along with Christmas cat.
Another kitty, with a Christmas scarf around her neck and red bow on her ear, stands nearby.
The table has a hand-painted Santa globe that sits on top of a red doily and two tiny figures stand on guard on either side of it.
There are new curtains this year, too! I found the prettiest lace to make them out of.
I love the rug in the living room.
It was purchased a few years ago in the gift shop at the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys.
Some one's been doing some knitting in the living room, too.
The basket of yarn stands near the deep cranberry-colored chair, along with two more tiny presents.
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, FASCINATES YOU ABOUT DOLLHOUSES?

Just beautiful...you've done a great job decorating!
Just lovely, Susan. You've inspired me to go upstairs and drag down those boxes of ornaments and favorite Christmas things. I haven't begun to decorate. I guess I'd better get busy. :-)
Everything about miniatures fascinates me ! I have 3 doll houses and the bottom shelf of my china cupboard has been turned into a home for my Little family. I wish I had more time to devote to one of my favorite hobbies ~ miniatures !
Your little home is so pretty and festive.
My, my! You are still way ahead of me here! I've lots to do to catch up with you! I've always loved looking at miniatures.
Welcome to the writer of the blog Of His Pasture, this blog's newest Follower. Thanks so much for Following. Stop by often.
Wishing each of you a peaceful evening. Susan
At first I thought it was your house - how wonderful it is! Okay what amazes me is the way they can make the same exact things that are in a real house and and they look real!
Loved your post! My mom used to build dollhouses and collected and made some of the cutest things for them! She made a old fashioned general store once...with an apartment upstairs. It was adorable. She even made all of the little loaves of bread and canned good... I so wish I had a picture of it!
All the detail fascinates me! I really enjoy your photos and the topics you choose to show us! :) I have been so bad about getting around to blogs in the last month. Been trying to finish my book and also do something holiday feeling.
