Recently, a dear, new friend and I had a delightful day from start to finish.
Luckily, she loves thrift store shopping as much as me. Yippah!
At a Goodwill store in a different town, I found the sweet Alfred Meakin pitcher, shown above and below in this post.
It's deep pink and white and the pattern is "Charlotte."
Oh, it's so pretty.
Also got these old-fashioned earrings with a tiny rose in the middle of deep blue colored stones.
Will share a couple of other treasures another day!
DO YOU ENJOY PUTTING FLOWERS IN DIFFERENT KINDS OF CONTAINERS?
What goodies you got!!! Love the pitcher best. I haven't been looking for long while. I have reached the point, I need to "shop" in the back of my own closets and drawers!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pitcher and I agree about putting those flowers in there - just makes it pop!
ReplyDeleteThat pitcher is so pretty. I do enjoy flowers in different containers.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how it wound up in a thrift store. I bet someone was happy to get it when it was new. But then you get to be happy too.:)
Looks like your shopping excursion was a big success. So glad you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! And what great little treasures you found, Susan.
ReplyDeleteI do like to use different containers for "vases". I have a white soup tureen that I use quite a lot. It looks especially fetching with pine and red or pink roses.
ReplyDeleteLove the pitcher you found at the Goodwill store. Nice find.
How lovely, what a find. I do like putting flowers in different containers too. The earings are so pretty as well xx jeanette ann
ReplyDeleteSusan, your vase looks a lot like the red transfer ware that's so popular. These earrings are so unique and pretty. I have to get my ears pierced again. One of them closed.
ReplyDeleteHave a peaceful Sunday, dear.
