Harvest Table Runner
Every new season means decorating in a special way to celebrate.
I just love putting touches around the house of whatever season it is, don't you?
That's part of the joy of life, I think.
To make a home a place of love, peace and beauty is a great gift.
A couple of years ago, while shopping at Big Lots, I found the prettiest table runner ever!
It's so reminiscent of fall.
This year I re-discovered it in one of the fall bins in the attic.
It graces the dining room table and looks quite festive.
(Now all I need to do is de-clutter some of the junk in there.)
DO YOU ADD NEW THINGS TO YOUR FALL DECOR OR RELY ON THINGS USED IN PREVIOUS YEARS?
This runner is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Linda - I love your runner - wish I had one - lol. Sandie
ReplyDeleteYou always find the cutest things, Susan. Don't ya just love Big Lots? I just went there the other day. They already have cute Christmas stuff out. Your table runner is festive and perfect for the season with all the Autumn colors.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question....if I see something new out there that I just can't resist, I'll buy it for the holidays, but most of the time I just get out my holiday décor from previous years. I have quite a collection of stuff for Christmas; a little too much for this small house. :)
Your table runner is gorgeous! I have stopped buying new items since first off, I haven't seen anything I really like and also I have run out of space for anything else. :) I have weeded out items that I am not totally in love with. But I still have a lot of decor. Kit
ReplyDeleteI do a little of both usually. Of course this year I have used just what I have. Your runner is quite nice!
ReplyDeleteI can't help but add some new to me decorations when I find them. But I try to get rid of something if something new comes in.
ReplyDeletePretty runner Susan. I just have my pumpkin cards up that I save each year...haven't bought new things in ages. Trying to get rid of things little by little.
ReplyDeleteI usually end up adding a little something new...I love decorating for the seasons too. I have given away things that my girls don't want and things I am done with.
