Children view the world with wide open eyes and hearts.
The smallest ant is fascinating to them.
They laugh and enjoy each sparkling moment of life.
It's important to keep our childlike hearts, don't you think?
When is the last time you played or laughed so hard your sides hurt?
Recently, we had an excursion with kids to a carousel and it was so much fun.
I loved going around and around on that magical ride as much as the kids!
Why not start to view the world as if you were a child again, even if for only a few moments?
WHAT DO YOU DO TO BRING OUT YOUR CHILD-LIKE SPIRIT?
You know as you grow older - you forget the childlike fun - in a way - then when we have our grandchildren - we see it again through them. My little grandson is coming for Thanksgiving - and I am excited because we will do some fun things with him!
ReplyDeleteHaven't done much lately...I need some children around maybe...
ReplyDeleteWhenever I'm with my grandsons I'm a child all over again. It's great to see things from their perspective. I taught elementary school for over forty years so I was always a bit of a child myself...miss those days.
ReplyDelete.. Susan... my camera,my craft and my coloured pencils bring out the child in me.... I don't think I ever truly grew up, I just grew old xxxxx Barb xxxx
ReplyDeleteWish I could be young again!
ReplyDeleteSo cute and refreshing after all the ugliness after the election. Thanks Susan for stopping by my blog. I am so thankful to be feeling better, finally. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. Enjoy your little returns to childhood.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to find more ways to bring back that love of fun. Very important. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteI live on the edge of whimsy with my little Liam. I used to be the most fun preschool teacher.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's what grandchildren are for to keep us young at heart.
ReplyDeleteMerle..................
hahaha Susan, your comment made me laugh. You can't help but dance to that song, it's got a great beat.
ReplyDeleteOh, after reading your post, you were the one who brought out my child-like spirit when you visited and commented tonight. Thank you, lovely friend.
love, ~Sheri
