Mexican tiles come in a dizzying array of colors, patterns and styles.
When we lived in the southwest, I'd look for them at yard sales and collected quite a few of them.
Little did I know they'd be used in home decor back on the east coast in a Colonial home!
Hubs installed then with white tiles above the sink, as a stove back splash and in a downstairs bathroom.
They are cheerful and pretty.
While eating at a Chili's Restaurant in Amherst, Massachusetts, recently, the tables sported Mexican tiles.
So attractive, do you agree?

I love colorful patterned tiles! I love visiting places where tiles are prominent, like Santa Fe or Spain. :) Great idea to use them in the backsplash and bathroom.

Our Chili's has the same table tops and I love them. I would love to redecorate my house with tile - and if I had the money to do it I would right now. I love tile. Sandie♥

ReplyDeleteFirst, I love Amherst. Our daughters graduated from Mount Holyoke and it was a special place with great restaurants. Our favorite was Judy's...is it still there? Love the tiles and it makes me so proud of how America is made up of this incredible melting pot of artisans; hoping that doesn't change with this Administration!!
