Balloons Soar High in the Sky

Every Fourth of July, we attend a humdinger of a parade in Western Massachusetts.

Each year it is terrific, including this year.

The fife and drum corps are great as are the bands, floats and fire engines.

The balloons are extra special for big and little kids, alike.

They go far up into the air and bounce around like toys for giants.

Hope you enjoy these photos of this year's parade balloons.

DO YOU ENJOY GOING TO PARADES?

  1. Wow! This is like the Macy's Day Parade. Our parades are nothing like this.

  4. That SMURF is delightful. Nel used to love watching the Smurfs when she was little. What a fun parade this is, Susan.

  5. Wow, that is a special parade. I'm used to seeing balloon floats only during the Thanksgiving day parade. I love the Smurfs and super Grover balloons as they remind me of when my girls were little.
