Christmas Fireplace Mantel

Some people decorate for Christmas in exactly the same way from year to year.

Around here, some things follow tradition but others, like the fireplace mantel, change annually.

It's more fun to think of new ways of adorning a room, table, or fireplace.

This year, the pink fireplace hosts a mini-legion of gold angels, deer, and white lights, all nestled inside faux greenery.

The runner underneath everything is gold, too, and the results are quite stunning.

DO YOU DECORATE IN THE SAME WAY EVERY YEAR OR DO YOU PREFER MORE VARIETY?

  2. Very pretty Susan. I do not have a fireplace mantle so no decorations like yours. I do hang stocking up on the bricks about it though and a Christmas wreath . Have fun getting your house ready for guests this year.

  3. I like to do the same thing every year. This is our second Christmas in this house, and since last year was the first year and not yet a habit, I couldn't remember what I did. I took pictures this year, so that when next Christmas rolls around, I will know what to do!

  5. Your fireplace mantel is beautiful. And I see that special angel with the trumpet that I love. Everything goes well with your mirror also. The sweet deer adds a special touch. It really looks nice, Susan.

  6. Oh, to answer your question.....I decorate some spaces in the same way - like my snow globes always go on my round table, but some things I change around. And I like to get a couple new items for the house during the Christmas season. That's always fun. : )
