Breakfast of Champions!

Guess what came home with us from a roadside farmer's stand?

Among many wonderful fruits like peaches, plums, and nectarines, and veggies like fresh cucumbers, green pepper, lettuce, and baby potatoes, we brought home blueberries!

Oh, how glorious the growing season is in Massachusetts.

It's so gratifying to have everything fresh from the field or bushes or trees.

So, with fresh blueberries on hand, doesn't it make sense to have blueberry pancakes for breakfast?

No "fake" store bought maple syrup will suffice for fresh blueberry pancakes.

Only real maple syrup, this time from Vermont, is worthy to be poured over the delicious, yummy panny cakes.  Mmmmmm. Dee-lish.

DO YOU LIKE FRESH BLUEBERRIES?

  1. Freshness is always BEST. Just can't beat fresh fruits and veggies. And your pancakes and Syrup...ooooo la la!! I sure wish we had this kind of pure maple syrup down here in the South. Instead, we just have maple flavor syrups. You did good!

  2. Your blueberry pancakes looks really good. And that natural syrup! Can't beat that! My son found some all natural honey recently and bought it. And I love that Pioneer Woman plate you served the pancakes on. : )
