Autumn is officially here, according to the calendar, but flowering plants on my cousin's deck know nothing about the change of seasons.
They are still in summer mode.
My cousin, Marianne, definitely has a profound green thumb.
Her plants look luscious and happy.
She also has a knack of tucking little figurines here and there to create whimsical scenes.
Can you find the second bunny in the photo below?
Sitting out on the deck, which overlooks a gorgeous lake, is always a total delight.
The gift of having a cousin, who is also a special friend, is another one of life's totally awesome gifts.
DO YOU LIKE TO GROW PLANTS? WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITES?
So happy to hear about your delightful visit.
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos of our cousins deck. She sure does have a green thumb and I sure don't ....
ReplyDeleteSuch stunning pink colors.. Your cousin seems to have that perfect green thumb. Being in the Nursery business, and attending so many nursery conventions...I have learned a good bit about growing healthy plants. I like to consider myself as a good grower of plants. I become very weak when I visit any garden center because I love all plants and flowers.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! Fall is here and my trees, streets covered with leaves, and lower temperatures are showing it, but my flowers on my deck are still beautiful and thriving. Love all your photos. Your cousin does have some beautiful flowers in creative settings.
