While zipping around at a church yard sale, last week, the candle holder shown in the post stood in all her regal glory on a long crowded table.
It made quite a statement.
In the mind's eye, it was easy to envision a white candle whose "flame" is a dead ringer for the real thing. However, the candlelight is fake. This tag sale trip was slated to find little Christmas gifties for others.
Okay, so the gorgeous, single candleholder became a gift for Halloween....for me, from me. ha ha ha
Price on the beauty? $4.00. Bargain.
A HomeGoods sticker was on its bottom.
When washed lovingly with Dawn and warm water, the candle holder looked even more sparkly.
It's now on a living room table and it makes me happy every time I glance at it. That, in itself, is worth the four bucks.
WHAT IS YOUR PREFERENCE FOR HOUSE ACCESSORIES? GLASS? CRYSTAL? PEWTER? WOODEN? WHAT?
haha I chuckled when you said a gift for me from me.....that is my favorite kind of gift. ; ) Your candle holder is so pretty, Susan, and you can't beat that price. I am always amazed at the delightful things you find out there. This is simple and elegant, and it suits me, as you know I love candles.
ReplyDelete**answering your question, I seem to have a lot of ceramic little figurines, just delightful items that I find. I have a velvet pumpkin, cause I like velvety things too.
Isn't it wonderful that we can gift ourselves with a gift...❤️. Truthfully, I love all of the choices your mentioned and I mix them in my decor.
ReplyDeleteI have a few glass things but not many due to earthquakes often.
