The Splendor of Red Maples

Sometimes in life, one comes across something so stunning that it touches the heart in a profound way.

While driving in western Massachusetts, some red maples behind a black wrought iron fence came into view.

A passenger in the car asked for it to be turned around so we could take in the splendorous scene.

It must have been a private home.

We hoped it would be okay to snap some photos and they are shown in this blog post.

Many thanks to whoever owns these fiery, red maples, planted with such precision by someone many years ago.

They add a great deal of beauty to our world which, as everyone knows, can use as much beauty as possible.

We are so thankful for the precious gift of sight as well as to whoever planted these gifts of nature for all to see and cherish.

Oh wow......theses trees are absolutely gorgeous. love the fence and the trees. I sure wish we had colors like this...sadly, not in Texas. I know they are pretty in this picture, but I can only imagine seeing them in person.
