Writing Straight from the Heart, my beloved blog, is backkkkkkkk.
The past couple of weeks there was travel to both Colorado and California to visit family.
It was impossible to get through to my blog due to not having my laptop with me.
But, as of tonight, I'm back in the east and ready to reconnect.
Missed all of my sweet blog peeps very much.
Today, I am leaving you with a prayer my late Mom gave to me.
Its meaning is very profound and such a good reminder that we don't have to languish in worry.
Here it is, straight from the top of my dresser:
Welcome back Susan...I hope you enjoyed your vacations and getting to see family in both Colorado and California. This is a beautiful prayer and I can see why you have it framed..
ReplyDeleteSusan, this is one of my favourite prayers, too. One that I refer to off and on when thing get dark. How lovely that you have it sitting on your dresser for an easy reference. A lovely reminder of your dear mom.
ReplyDeleteNice to have you back in blogland after your time away! Wishing you a beautiful week ahead.
It reminds me of the hymn “Be Not Afraid “ Very good prayer for hard times.
ReplyDeleteSusan you are back! This is a special poem that belonged to your dear Mom, and it's such a treasure that was passed down to you. Our blogs are a way of connecting with lovely and beautiful women like you, Susan. Glad you're home safe and sound.
