A New Day in a Busy Week

Today, people in western New England woke up to a snowy landscape.

Yup, it definitely snowed during the night.

My car is covered with the white stuff.

That means it has to be cleaned off before venturing out to tackle the never ending "need to do" list.

In weeding out Christmas decorations this year, the two little snowman salt and pepper shakers, shown at the top of this post,  came out of storage.

They are going to stay because they are smile-makers.

Smile-makers are worth keeping, right?

Human and material smile-makers are good to have around.

Christmas lambie pie also tugs at my heart. She's so darned cute.

It would make me unhappy to toss her into the charity pile.

And the beat goes on.

Here's hoping the new, and busiest of all weeks before Christmas, will be a good one!

WHAT IS SOMETHING TODAY THAT MAKES YOU SMILE?

  1. I am smiling as I do not have to face any kind of snow, and I finally got my Christmas tree up and ready to decorate. YAY. Have a great busy day.

  2. Smile makers are most definitely worth keeping. We need as many as we can get.

  3. Yes...definitely keep the smile markers. Hope you can enjoy the snow even with the thoughts of having a busy week.

  4. You know, some of those salt and pepper shakers make the cutest decorations. I've seen many around that I love. Your lamb is darling too, Susan. Going through Christmas stuff too, dear Susan, and donating some and keeping the ones that make me smile, as you said. It's a process, isn't it?
