Christmas Cactus

Oh my goodness, Christmas Day has come and gone.

The whole season has been one of abundance and love.

There have been a lot of activities to attend, luncheons and dinners with friends and family, concerts to enjoy, light shows that are absolutely lovely, and on and on.

We still have several precious days left to enjoy before the new year begins.

When that happens, packing away Christmas decor and de-cluttering take on a whole new importance.

One of the joys of the season is having a Christmas cactus in bloom.

These beautiful plants are great to give as gifts but also wonderful to have in one's home or apartment.

DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT GROWING CHRISTMAS CACTI?

I'm not a gardener and I do not have a green thumb. If I had one of those Christmas plants it would probably not last long at my house. It's very pretty so enjoy it while it blooms.

That color is bright and cheerful. I hope your Christmas cactus lasts a long time. I don't know much about the cactus plant, as I never buy them. You know I'm more of a rose and carnation lady. ; )

What a lovely colour - how it must have sparked up your holiday decorating through the season. They are such beautiful plants. I know little about Christmas cacti, as I've never attempted to grow one. But I sure can appreciate their beauty when others do.

Happy New Year, Susan!
