Sweet Georgia Peach

Almost everybody has a favorite fruit, of one kind or another.

Peaches are among my favorites, especially when they are ripe and juicy.

When the sweet juice runs down one's chin, it's even tastier!  ha!

Luckily, while doing grocery shopping the other day, "Georgia" peaches were highlighted.

I have no idea why Georgia peaches are any different from others but have no qualms about arguing about them.

The bag of Georgia peaches came home with the other groceries.

They are still quite hard and it will be necessary to let them ripen for a few days.

Peach cobbler is so delicious (but fattening) and so are peach preserves and peach iced tea.

Peach-colored roses are gorgeous, too.

Peach anything is fine with me.

Does anyone know why Georgia peaches are supposed to be the best?

WHAT IS YOUR VERY FAVORITE FRUIT?

I don't know why they are the best but they are certainly delicious. I think black raspberries are my favorite. They will be ripening soon and of course apples in the autumn! Have a delightful week. Hugs!

I’ve never seen Georgia peaches in our stores so I’ve never had one. Just regular California peaches. I do enjoy a good juicy peach. Apricots too. Tis the season!

Well Susan Georgia is called the peach state so I guess that's why their peaches are so good. They probably have the best climate for growing them. I love fresh and canned peaches and have them often all year round. I love then too but my favorite fruit is still apples.
