Blooms In Time for Christmas?

For many months now, Christmas cactus has been laying low.

No perky leaves and very few indications of much life.

A couple of weeks ago, she got some plant food.

Today,  December 1st,  there are little signs of pink flowers to come!

I wanted to kick up my heels and shout.

Definitely, the shout is possible. Not so sure about the heel kicking.

However, we are definitely going to have blooms for Christmas, if not before.

Nearby, the zamioculca plant, also called ZZ, is growing tall and has nice, shiny leaves.

During a run through a thrift store the other day, a sweet, chunky, light blue bird caught my attention.

She is nestled down under the plant that is supposed to attract any negative energy that enters the apartment.

Just thinking about that, too, makes me want to kick up the ol' heels.

I have an orchid plant that’s still alive that was sent to me weeks ago. I do not have a green thumb so I’m very grateful it’s still blooming. Enjoy your pink Christmas plant. So pretty and your favorite color.
