It'd be interesting to know how many chocolate chip cookies I have made over the course of a lifetime.
One thing is for sure, it's a LOT.
These days, there would be no reason to make those treats.
They don't even have much attention-grabbing powers for me anymore. The grandchildren, however, are another story.
They still love chocolate chip cookies.
I like to give them plastic baggies of cookies so they can be placed in lunch boxes.
That way, the kids have a special treat at school.
Maybe they'll even think of Grammie for making the sweet treats.
WHAT IS YOUR VERY FAVORITE KIND OF COOKIE?

delicious cookies! I've tried a lot of recipes, my favorite are savory whole wheat cookies made from spelt, oat and whole wheat flour with flax, pumpkin, sesame, chia seeds, etc.

ReplyDeleteI make chocolate chip cookies often. I've made tons of them in my lifetime. I usually have one right out of the oven and then freeze the rest for my grandsons or for company. I make various other kinds at Christmas time for a cookie exchange I go to.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I always love to see when you bake your chocolate chip cookies. They look so Yummy, and what a special treat for the kids' lunch boxes. I noticed right away the plate you served them on too. It's so pretty. My favorite cookie is chocolate chip too, but at Christmastime, it's the sugar cookie. Keep making those chocolate chip cookies Susan! ; ) How wonderful they are.
