Fourth Sunday of Lent

We are just about half-way through the Lenten season.

It's supposed to be a time of preparation for Easter.

For 40 days, it's suggested to fast, pray, and sacrifice.

Today marks the 4th Sunday of lent.

I think doing good things for others is one way to acknowledge lent.

If you can do it and not acknowledge that you did it, that makes it even more sacrificial.

Hope your Sunday is blessed, whether you keep lent or not.

Hi Susan, still here. Thanks for checking on me. First week was kinda crazy, but it's been quieter the past week. Airport still closed. We were supposed to travel to Sri Lanka for Eid, haven't been there in 3 years, but seems it may not happen.

What a beautiful church, Susan. I always love the stained glass in the churches. The church in my hometown has stained glass all throughout the church. It's really quite pretty. Yes, doing good things for others, like you said, and not boasting about it is the best kind of good. Have a peaceful Sunday, dear Susan.

Not only during Lent and preparation for Easter, but also otherwise, people should always do good deeds and help everyone as much as possible.
And so that doing good becomes a normal thing and that we never brag about it, but rather help someone, for example by donating money or clothes, etc., without anyone knowing.

Today was Latare Sunday so the priests wore pink instead of purple. The choir director forgot to let us know so we were in our usual purple for lent. The gospel was about the blind man who finally could see. Miracles happen every day. Trust in the Lord.
