Ironed with Starch, Pro or Con?

\\

Some people may say starched and ironed table and dresser covers are totally outdated.

Not me.  I love the look of starched white cloths, pillowcases, and so forth.

So at a thrift store, I found and bought a Black and Decker iron for $6.99.  Works like a charm.

Purchased in a supermarket was a spray can of heavy starch.

Now, bookcase, tables and dresser tops have lovely starched white covers, just in time for Easter.

  1. Yours look. Lovely. They would be hard for me to cover my surfaces in white! I’d make a mess of them!

I can not even remember the last time I used my iron and ironing board. They've taken up space in a closet for years. Your white things look gorgeous. Good for you starching them and displaying them on your tables and dressers.

  4. Oh for sure there is nothing more charming than dresser and table covers starched to perfection . My grandma always did up doilies fresh every spring with starching them. Yes I still iron as well. There is something special about something being pressed. Good purchase at 6.99! Have a lovely Easter.
