The photo above is one of many churches in New England.
I rolled the car window down to snap the photo and went on my merry way.
Most towns here have a ton of churches from all different denominations and ethnic backgrounds. Some , like the ones shown, are very pretty structures, especially against a lovely blue sky.
Interiors of local old churches are also frequently very artistic and majestic.
I was going to give up feeding the hummingbirds this spring since I don't remember too many of the little miracle birds coming to slurp up my homemade hummingbird liquid last year.
That decision to call it quits before even seeing how this spring would be wasn't very wise. After waiting a couple of extra days, I'll be darned, the hummers started coming.
It's good to have a reminder to "Be patient and wait upon the Lord."
Welcome to all the little hummers who will come throughout the summer.
Here's hoping your Sunday is awesome.
May His love and kindness fill your heart today.

I'm so glad those precious birds are visiting you now, Susan. It seems that May is a month for birds and animals and flowers showing up. The poppies are wildly blooming right now, and I saw many deer the month of May. I love your little decorative hummingbird pin. Thank you for this gentle reminder to be patient and wait upon the Lord. It is a special one to reflect on this Sunday evening.
ReplyDeleteHappy June Susan!
