Humming birds are drinking hardily from the feeder outside the window but that's not what this post is about.
Could there be a birdie love story developing on top of the apartment buffet?
A little yellow bird is peeking over the edge of the Christmas cactus that sits on the buffet top.
Down below, a larger bird, perhaps the male suitor, is looking up longingly at the cactus visitor.
It's easy to imagine love in progress!
It's comforting to think about how God takes care of the birds of the air so humans don't have to worry about being forgotten.
If the Master of the Universe takes care of the birdies, He'll surely take care of his human children.
That's the soothing message.

Oh, I love the Matthew 6:26 verse about the birds. It's always been a special one for me that I reflect on now and then. Your little birds are so cute. And I do have a similar looking one like this little one in your plant. They look nice on your buffet and perfect for spring. I'm so glad those hummers are coming around too.

Those birdies were so cute. I love the birds that visit my two feeders on my window. They give me so much pleasure!
