Beauty, Beauty Everywhere

It's true there is beauty everywhere.

The key is to recognize it.

This week, while stopped at a red light, I turned my head to the left and saw the gorgeous display of flowers shown at the top of this post.

They were planted in the center space between two streets.

Volunteers plant flowers throughout this Western Massachusetts city and they do a stellar job.

Seeing those simple, colorful flowers lifted my spirit immediately.

Flowers truly are food for the soul.

WHAT IS SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL YOU HAVE SEEN LATELY IN YOUR OWN CORNER OF THE WORLD?

Our town also plants flowers along the strip going through the center. They usually have hearts for Valentine's day and Flags for the fourth of July ...you get the idea. Right now I have pots of colorful hydrangeas outside on my patio, pink and purple and red.

What a lovely idea - it must make all who pass by that way feel their spirits lifting. Always watching the humming birds and all the birds visit the feeders daily. There is so much more but this one is at the top of my list. Hugs!
