"Just in Case" Vase

One of the challenges of being older is saving the smallest things that might someday be "useful."

One such item is a tiny bottle, not more than an inch and a half tall.

It has a glass handle and a top that screws on.

It is the absolute cutest thing.

It's been up in a kitchen cabinet for ages.

Recently, it came down at last and got put to use.

Some pink petunia blossoms fell off the gigantic petunia plant recently purchased.

Picking up the fallen blossoms, I brought them into the apartment, put some water into the tiny bottle, and added the blooms.

Voila!  It is a mini-bouquet!

DO YOU STILL SAVE THINGS "JUST IN CASE?"

What a cute idea Susan. The blooms look perfect in your saved glass bottle.

Your "just in case" vase is cute, Susan. It kind of looks like a canning jar. The pink petunias look really nice in there. I do have a few items, just in case - candles are always needed for outages and winter, so I store them in the cupboard. And picture frames. I love to have one handy when I need it. Have a blessed weekend, Susan.
