The Best Is for Now

Change is part of life, especially when one is getting older.

In the past, a set of Old Country Roses china was kept in my maternal grandmother's hutch, for safe keeping.

Then, as the years whizzed by, I decided to start using that gorgeous china every single day.

The "special occasion" became being alive!

What good is saving beautiful things for another day?

Today is all we have, so we must make the most of it, is my current mantra.

Every morning, when I lift the cover of the Old Country Roses sugar bowl, to get a teaspoon of sugar for coffee or cold cereal, it is pleasing.

So remember, don't save the best for last.

 Use it now and enjoy!

I used my pink roses set of china the other day when my nephew and family were here for dinner. It's on the top shelf of my cabinets so I don't use them as often as I should. Too hard to reach. So glad you have your sugar bowl handy.

Oh Susan, you know how much I love this Old Country Roses pattern, as I have a candy dish in it. Your sugar bowl is so pretty, There's just something about this collection that I love so much; the roses from a deep pink color to a blush color. So feminine, such a treasured piece. I hope you enjoy this collection for all time, Susan. And wise words to use what we have now, at this time. : )
