Royal Albert Tea Cup for Martha and Terri's TEA CUP TUESDAY!

With spring in the air, today I want to share with you a tea cup that makes me think of roses in the garden.

It's a cup with Royal Albert's Rose Cameo Green pattern.  The cool, pastel green background offsets the lush  pink, red, and yellow roses that make this cup a delight to see and hold. The roses, with their little leaves, are surrounded by swirled designs in green.

Gold trim around the top and bottom of the cup, the handle, and around the edge of the saucer give an aura of elegance to the set.  It really is quite royal!

It's easy to imagine an entire set of china in this pattern.  This cup and saucer speak of the gifts of spring.  I like to imagine the artist who designed the pattern, drawing all those roses!

This is one of my favorite cups in my collection.

A few weeks ago I shared a cup with a pink background and roses, also by Royal Albert. That pattern was Rose Cameo Pink.

Please click over to Martha's blog, http:// http://www.marthasfavorites.com/ and  Terri's blog, http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/ for a peek at some other gorgeous tea cups. This is a great tea party and one we want to keep going and going and going, like the Energizer battery!

Would you like a cup of tea in the garden this spring?

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR IN TEA CUPS?

She's a beautiful little tea cup! I love the pattern, I love the colors, I especially love the scallop edge of the saucer, and the handle on the cup makes her look like she's standing upright with her hand her hip. A perfect model!
All the best,
Eileen

Such a pretty tea cup...I have a climbing rose bush that i have been nourishing with tlc this year. The winter before we had such a badone with so much snow that a rabbit ate it down for food and I know this because he left his little calling cards. Sooo..I make sure there if food for the rabbits if we get to much snow.
