A Magical Wedding Creates Happy Memories

Weddings are among life's happiest occasions.

(Here are the lovely table settings at a wedding recently attended)

A man and woman falling in love is always cause for celebration.

When the happy couple decides to marry, they become willing to pledge their love and commitment to each other in front of God, friends, family, and society. That's special and admirable.

At a recent wedding, every detail had been carefully tended to and the result was an affair to remember. So much work, time, planning, and money must have gone into the wedding.  Stunning floral arrangements, attractive table settings--- complete with black napkins---,  an exquisite wedding gown, champagne toasts, sparkling glassware, flickering candles and almost 200 people joining in the celebration all made the event an evening to remember.

(This gorgeous chandy sparkled from up above)       (These votives sparkled down below on tables)

In order to protect the privacy of the bride and groom, their names and identifying photos will not be shown on the blog. However, I wanted to share some of the day's special touches with you, my dear blog readers.

(Each guest took home this  sweet little favor.)               (Inside was a chocolate dipped fortune
                                                                                          cookie and almonds)

Whenever I see something special or experience a happy occasion, my first inclination is to share it on my blog so I hope you enjoy these random  photographic wedding remembrances.

The bride wore an enchanting gown that had exquisite details such as adornments running down the entire back. Tall and slender,  she carried herself with grace and elegance.

Best wishes to the bride and groom. May their lives together be blessed with deep love, caring, respect, loyalty, and eventually, children.

                                                                        The End

I have a dream of becoming an event planner, so not only is the celebration itself a wonderful thing, but also I enjoy checking the little details, to keep in mind for a family event I might take as practice. The favors, the flowers, color palette, food...every little thing makes the whole event oh so very special. Plus, of course, the promise of love between the bride and groom. I like to see how they sometimes forget all the noise and party going on, and immerse in each others' arms and eyes, as if they were alone. Very romantic, I think.

I love all kinds of weddings even those that are on a strict budget..the joy between the two people being married is the BEST decoration of all.

Lovely indeed! I can't believe that guests take home such wonderful favors -- especially with that many in attendance. Weddings sure have become a production and need lots of planning. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday. :) Tammy

Beautiful event. Those table arrangements are so unique. Personally, I'm not fond of attending weddings; they've become an over-the-top show, in my opinion, but I do like the idea of marriage, and simple ceremonies. ;) We've always told our daughter, if she chooses not to have a big wedding, she can have a decent sum of money instead. We'll see how it goes. LOL

I'm with Dayle (glad she said it first)

The coolest wedding I ever went to was in a backwoods old mining town in Arizona (population about 30). We had to drive over a rock strewn rutted road for 25 miles (which took about 1 1/2 hours)to reach the town.

The bride wore a cute old-fashioned lace dress with white cowboy boots and rode in on a horse. Obviously the wedding was outside. After the wedding we ate a huge steak dinner at the local restaurant - hard to believe a town that size had a restaurant, but they did.

People that were staying the night slept in sleeping bags on the restaurant floor. It sounds weird, but it was so much dang fun!!

Gorgeous flower arrangements! My late husband and I made our wedding favors (a small basket with two artificial pears and a tag with our names saying, "The Perfect Pair).

Years before, I'd worked on a wedding canopy for a friend's wedding. We embroidered scriptures from Revelation about the marriage supper of the Lamb. I was privileged to use it at my wedding.

Blessings,
Susan :)
