Scenes from Colorado

Driving through the mountains of Denver, Colorado, one experiences breathtaking vistas.

Some mountains are capped with snow while others are entirely frosted.

Digital camera in hand, it was impossible to stop snapping, being surrounded by so much beauty.

In Dillon, Colorado, a mountain reflected in the water, created this naturally magnificent vista

Hope you take just a few moments to look at these shots and just enjoy!

DO YOU HAVE PICTURESQUE SCENERY WHERE YOU LIVE?

I love all your pics of Denver and the surrounding area. We lived in Wheatridge for 5 years and still miss Colorado. But yes, we have very beautiful scenery here in Montana too! Thanks for the memories! Kit

Nope, nothing picturesque here. Everything looks better at night though. :) Your images from Colorado are gorgeous! I remember all the hiking we did during summer vacations there when I was little. Being from the south, my brother and I were so excited driving up the mountain and finding little patches of snow along the way; drinking fresh water from the streams and eating beef jerky as we trekked through the woods. Hope you are having a great day. Tammy

I think each and every area where one lives has its own natural beauty. I love the landscape where I grew up in (Berkshire County Mass) and I love it now where I live (near Laguna Beach) and the beautiful oceans. I can also see snow capped mountains from where I live now too. Colorado has the rockies, Tucson, the deserts and saguaro catctus and so forth. We live in a beautiful country..the good old USA.

If we drive a little ways - I think.

And your pictures are so awesome - how do trees grow out of rocks like that?

And that I think 3 or 4th picture with that sun you captured.

Love,
sandie

These pictures are beautiful. My best friend lives in Colorado. Yes, I have mountains that surround my town, and every time I get coffee in the morning, I look at them and are amazed at their beauty. Thank you for sharing those wonderful photos.
