Winter's Beauty After Snowflurries

On the dark, dreary days of winter, it's hard to think about beauty in nature.

It's more comfortable to remain cozy and warm indoors.

But after a snow storm, even if it's just flurries, this intense desire to go outside and take pictures (what else?) comes over me.

So I grab my handy little camera and walk around.

Surely, by now, the neighbors think, "Ooops. There goes that crazy lady again, taking pictures of tree tops and trunks, the sky, and snow covered bushes."

.

Of course, in the spring, they still see me snap, snap, snapping photos of every tiny green shoot that pushes its way up to the earth. So they may think "She's crazy year round."

Anyway, after a pretty good snowflake dousing this weekend, I went out and found some picturesque images to snap around the neighborhood.

Looking up, with the cold air freezing my face, I realized that even in the midst of winter, there is profound beauty all around us.

WHAT DO YOU  ENJOY PHOTOGRAPHING THE MOST?

I wouldn't think you were odd walking about the yard with your camera taking photos from unusual angles. I'd think you were quite normal. Love your photos! :)

It used to me my kids, but now they hate getting their pictures taken. I guess I would have to say food right now.

Since I started blogging, I enjoy taking pictures of anything and everything. I don't always use them all, but I take them just in case. My family already thinks I'm crazy so it is all good. Ha! From one crazy person to another ... have a great week. Tammy

I am so glad that you use your camera to take pictures of the beauty in God's world. I especially love to see pictures of the snow, as I don't see it that often. We live in sunny California, and we have to go high in the mountains to see the snow. You keep taking your beautiful photos please. We all need to see them.
