New Small Scale Dollhouse Found!

 Do you believe in miracles?

Well, I believe in mini-miracles, that's for sure.

Two Christmases ago, my daughter gave me a gift from her heart.

She presented me with four rooms full of dollhouse furniture that she had put together and painted.

It must have taken her weeks to complete the immense task.

Here was the problem. Unbeknown to my daughter, the furniture was a much smaller scale than used in my regular dollhouses.

It would be like putting Barbie furniture in a big house living room.

I put away the lovely little pieces made with love.

When my daughter asked me why I hadn't used them in my dollhouse, I had to tell her the problem with the scale of the objects.

Fast forward two years. At the very first yard sale I went to last weekend, in the pouring rain, there were tables set up under a kind of tarp cover.

There on a table was an adorable SMALL SCALE dollhouse!

I was so thrilled, I didn't even try to get the price down because it was a tremendous bargain at $10.

It's unfinished so painting in earnest has already begun. I decided to do it in a cheerful light turquoise.

One of my sisters, God bless her, gave me a slew of acrylic paints so I didn't have to go out and buy them.

Another mini-miracle!

If you don't mind, I'll do another updated post in the future, to show the finished project.

Just couldn't wait to share share happiness over this mini-miracle!

WHAT WAS THE LAST MINI-MIRACLE YOU WITNESSED?
