Rose Wreath Centerpiece

Some decorations we buy are kept for a long, long time.

There's just something appealing that makes it impossible to discard them.

Such is the case with a red and pink rose wreath.

It's been several years since I bought it.

From the first moment, I loved it and that's so in tune with Valentine's Day, right?

For awhile, it hung on a wall.  Then, I decided to use it as a centerpiece for our kitchen table. It's perfect!

Now I have a crystal candle holder in the middle and burn a small tea light.

DO YOU KEEP SOME DECORATIONS FOR MANY YEARS?

I keep decorations for years and years...I don't have many so they don't take up too much room. I love your rose wreath!

This is very pretty Susan. I can see why you would keep it. I don't have any Valentine's decorations but I have a lot of Christmas decorations that I should probably replace sometime! I love them though! Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments! They really mean so much to me!

Your wreathe is pretty. Yes I do save mine. This is the thing - my mother was a first class decorator and I have all her beautiful things - and I need to get them out more and take photos and decorate - but I have been so busy with other things - lol. sandie

I like your idea of using the wreath to place around your candle...very pretty and perfect for Valentine. I have a few Christmas keepers that I have kept over the years. I have never tired of them. My favorite is a snow globe with a pine tree with a red bird on top.

I fear I may hold onto some things way past their age of usefulness.:-)

Roses are a favorite of my sister. It seems that you have taken excellent care of this particular decoration that is suitable for this season.
