A "Big" Collection of "Little" Things

Isn't it funny how collections seem to sprout "more" overnight?

Now I knew I had a couple of tiny vases, dollhouse-sized.

What I didn't know was that I accumulated a lot of them!

One of my 2014 goals is to go through dozens of boxes in the attic.

I plan to discard, revamp, pass-on and organize that space.

Alas, while doing so, I came across more tiny vases than I even knew I had!

So now they are in the brass and glass holder in the downstairs bathroom.

It's almost impossible to snap photos of the rack because it has a mirrored back and the camera keeps showing up in the shots.

But here are a few I want to share with you.

Today we are joining Home and Garden Thursday on Kathy's blog, A Delightsome Life.

Why not stop by her blog and join the fun?

WHAT COLLECTIONS DO YOU HAVE THAT HAVE GROWN WITHOUT YOUR EVEN KNOWING IT?

Our houses have had no attics, so storing collections becomes a problem. You have a good way to display your small vases. They are easy to see and enjoy.

You have such variety! I believe I see some familiar things that look at home there!

I think you should open up your own "store" as you have many many collections..and not just vases. I do not have collections except a few music boxes. I know you will enjoy all of yours!

I love your small vases. I think my creamer collection grew to huge proportions without me realizing it. I did down size some.

I see so many cute mini's there! I have those exact ruby glass with clear handle pitchers. What do you know about them? I got mine at an auction, there are three of them.

It may be difficult for you to let go of such pretty and unique items...collectors become attached.

Awe were those all little miniatures? Wow you do have a wonderful collection. I don't know what I collect - a few things but I am trying to downsize now. I found my dining room table - Andy was impressed!

Oh, your little things are precious, Susan. They are displayed so pretty in your cabinet. You know, Jess loves miniature things, and I told her she should take her collection and display them somewhere. I love the blue pieces you have.

Love,
~Sheri
