The Miracle of Flowers

To all Irish  and Irish-at-heart readers, HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

May you have a delightful day from start to finish and that's no blarney!

Happy Monday to all.

You know, this past weekend, while looking at some tulips purchased for my hub's birthday, I became utterly entranced by their incredible beauty.

I like to look deeply at flowers, including inside of them.

What one sees is absolutely amazing.

It never ceases to amaze me how perfectly enchanting they are.

Truly, they are God's handiwork, don't you think?

WHAT IS ONE FLOWER YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND WHY?

When I was in Holland the tulips there were just gorgeous. I think my favorite flowers are wild flowers like lily of the valley and violets.
I remember picking them on walks when I was a little girl. It brings back memories.

I remember as a child a man grew a field of tulips and he gave each child leaving school one of his flowers to treasure.

Your question sparked memories of the gardenias we had growing in the yard when we lived in Georgia. The petals are indescribably beautiful and oh the fragrance...

I think that tulips are one of my favorite all time flowers. They look so stately.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

Gorgeous tulips! It's so hard to choose just one flower as they are all so unique and beautiful. I guess I would have to say Lilacs and Roses are 2 of my all time favorites; heavenly fragrance in addition to their beauty. An arrangement of lilacs AND roses is breathtaking and the smell divine.

All flowers are so unique and beautiful, but something about violets is just so delicate and sweet!

..Hi Susan ...you have asked a very hard question today. I love so many flowers it's hard to pick 1 favourite. I love photographing Hellebores because their colour changes and the speckles inside thee flower add such depth to them....and the flowers last so long I can say hello to them for months.
Hugs and Blessings ...

Every day I marvel at the beauty and intricacies of something. This world truly is amazing. Such a shame that not everyone can see or respect that. Hugs and blessings, Tammy
