Take tall buildings, for example.
In the little town we live in, there are no big, tall buildings.
So when we went on an excursion to Hartford, Connecticut, this month, I loved looking at all the so-called skyscrapers.
Some of the architecture was just great!
Well, hope you have a really nice weekend.
Wishing you sunshine in the skies and in your heart, too!
WHAT IS ONE CITY YOU HAVE VISITED AND LIKED?

I USA I liked New Orleans the best but nothing compares to Sydney on a fine spring day but Paris comes close.

Beautiful buildings. I enjoy a city trip every now and then. Well I work in Dublin city but have no tall buildings like this, however the architecture is very nice. I enjoyed Rome and Vienna a lot. But then again my home city Gothenburg is a lovely city :)
Chicago is my most frequented city. There is no END to fascinating sites & experiences in cities! I wouldn't even mind living in one...
I like the buildings you photographed Susan. I like cities. I wouldn't want to live in the heart of one, but I love visiting them. I love my own city of Sydney... and I like Melbourne, but my favourite city is Paris... it's so beautiful...
hugs and blessings...

I like visiting cities but enjoy living in a suburb. I think the tallest buildings I've seen are in New York City...but I love Boston, Rome, Venice, Dublin and Mexico City. Every place I've visited has it's own special charm.
You captured some great builings with eye and camera!!!
I love big cities and living in them . Every big city is impressive.
Just love the historic city of Boston. So much history and beautiful architecture also. There are so many stunning college campuses, churches, parks and restaurants to visit and it is very "walkable". And of course the ocean is there too, sending on it's breezes the unmistakable scent of the sea....
Hello from Spain: beautiful pictures. I really like the capital of my country. Madrid. The buildings are beautiful and elegant. Keep in touch
Susan, For some reason I missed this post! I love your photos of the "skyscrapers." Your post reminds me of how much I miss traveling by car or bus. I would say that Ottawa, Canada was a blast, though it's been several years now since my husband took me to one of his conferences there. We keep saying we want to go back for their tulip festival one of these springs!
