It's Apple Blossom Time (on Canvas)

One of my all-time favorite September birthday gifts was a painting of an apple tree in full blossom.

A very dear artist friend, Christina, gave it to me.

Isn't it absolutely charming?

I'd like to get some kind of frame for it but have no idea what kind. Any suggestions?

Apple blossoms remind me soooo much of my childhood.

There was a big apple  tree in the back yard of the house in which I grew up.

The scent of apple blossoms was utterly intoxicating but the blossoms were short-lived.

It was like having a little touch of heaven right in our back yard.

WHAT WAS THE LAST GIFT YOU RECEIVED THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVED?

A very dear friend of mine gave me a plate with the city of Budapest on it with the gorgeous bridge in lights. We traveled there together and so this plate was extra special to me. I have it displayed in my dining room. I love the apple blossom picture. I have one with orange blossoms that my daughter in law painted in my dining room which I love.

Oh that is stunning Susan. I don't know for sure what frame would suit it,I think I would take it along shopping to try out some first.
I just received a beautiful lazy susan with glass condiment dishes.I so love it. I can't wait to use it. I'v put it into this weeks post on my blog. Happy week x jeanette

What a lovely gift. Handmade is always the best sort of gift. I'd just go with a nice, simple oak frame. It doesn't need anything too decorative. Let the painting itself be the spotlight. Hugs and blessings, Tammy

Gorgeous painting. Love the colors and the whimsical style! Can wait to see how you frame and display it.

This picture is as beautifull as I would't give any frame to it. I think glass cover will be much suitable instead of the frame.

What a beautiful painting from your dear friend, Susan. Handmade gifts are so special, and often times they're the ones we keep forever. To answer your question, what was the last gift that I got that I loved?.....MY HOUSE! I'm settling in now and feeling very grateful.

Have a good week.

love,
~Sheri
