Abba's Abundance

There are many names for God----Abba,  Emmanuel, Father,  Holy Spirit, Jehovah Jireh, Jesus,  Messiah, Yahweh, and many more.

I like the sound of Abba.

It's simple and beautiful, like so many of His gifts to us, His children.

Fresh tangerines and other fruits on a cold winter's day, a flowering cactus plant in the middle of a wintery blast,  a cozy house inside while sub zero temps freeze everything outside----all of these are things for which to be so thankful.

Think on these simple things that are ours for the taking:

Candlelight

Cars that start

Crisp salads

Flowers

Fire in a living room fireplace

Half and half in coffee

Lace curtains

Peach fuzz hair on a newborn baby

Smiling toddlers

Soft pillows under our heads at night

Sunlight

Sunrises and sunsets

Ahhhh, all are simple but sweet gifts, given to us freely and generously from  Abba.

WHAT IS ONE THING FOR WHICH YOU ARE ESPECIALLY THANKFUL TODAY?

My favorite photo was the pictures of the fruit - God gives us all that - and it is so healthy. Yum.
