Photos from Up High

If you had been on a Southwest Airlines plane recently, you would have seen a rather "crazy" lady snapping photos from the plane window.

That  lady happened to be "yours truly."

Not one, photo, mind you but lots of photos.

It was almost impossible to stop because the sight was so incredible.

Having just returned from a week in Colorado, there is so much to do such as unpacking, doing work assignments, getting caught up on reading a week's worth of newspapers and on and on.

But after seeing loved ones and having a wonderful change-of-scene, it's time to come back to earth.

DO YOU LIKE TO FLY?

Susan, these are very cool pictures, just incredible. I did the same thing about a year ago when traveling to So. Cal. and I took pics of the beautiful clouds and sky while flying. I'm glad you're safely back home. No, I'm not a fan of flying, but it gets me there in half the time, so I don't mind.

Have a great week.

love, ~Sheri

Flying makes me nervous but I love seeing the Earth from bird's eye view... and those clouds... wow.. beautiful. Great photos! :)

The first time I flew was an amazing and eye-opening experience. I was amazed at the patchwork landscape, and then doubly amazed as we flew into a cloudbank. I'll bet you have some great shots from on high.

I really hate flying, but for long distances it is the best way to go. When I was young I thought it was an adventure, now I always feel like we are going to fall from the sky at any moment! Just have to deal with it. Seems like you don't mind at all. Glad you are back home and guess what? We are supposed to actually have some Spring this week....

Glad you are back safe and glad you saw family in Colorado. I think flying has changed so much in the last twenty years ..I used to love to fly but now not so much...too cramped...too many restrictions and I could go on and on..but the views are always wonderful!

I like getting to where I am going quickly, but i HATE feeling like a sardine squished between two other people, especially when the seat mate has heavy perfume or aftershave. ! I also find myself feeling suspicious of people in the plane....hmmmmm, could this guy be a terrorist, hmmmmm, has this guy got abomb in hisback pack

What great photos!

I don't like to fly but because of where we live (the bottom border of Texas, it is a must.

Enjoyed visiting,

Awesome photos. I don't necessarily like flying but it's a necessity based on where I am currently in the world. :) Will be in Colorado for a month this summer. Maybe one day our trips will coincide. Best wishes, Tammy
