Luckily, despite yearning to buy lots of flowers for pots around the yard, I held off.
Last night we even had a freeze forecast.
I was afraid for the pretty pink plant that was purchased because its sign said it attracted butterflies.
It was so chilly last evening we switched on the Eden Pure heaters in two rooms.
May is crazy that way.
It can be warm and gorgeous in the daytime and very chilly by evening.
Hopefully, sooner than later, we can plant some pretty flowers without fear of frost freezing them!

It will be a lovely cool weekend with temps in the low seventies for the next seven days in the daytime and in the high fifties in the evening when I'm asleep. I love this time of year. Just wish we could have more rain to ease our drought!
No frost here but it did get down to 43 one night...toooooo chilly.
It got cold enough here for me to whip out the snuggle blanket I had packed away when the temp hit 88. I'm hoping mama nature had her last hurrah.
Were your flowers okay? It has been cool here too - but for us - I am glad because once it gets hot - it will stay hot til October.
Pretty, San Francisco has been crazy as well with the weather windy as could be a cold like ice the air is.. though today the sun is out.. Happy Weekend with love Janice
