A Unique Way to Help Celebrate a Birthday

A very dear blog friend, Linda, from A La Carte, recently had a birthday.

You know what she did to help celebrate?  She had a giveaway!

Whoever won would get to tell all the things they love. Then, Linda said, she would put together a special package and send it!

Isn't that a wonderful thing to do to help celebrate one's birthday? It's so sweet and generous. What an absolutely great idea!

Well, I won that blessed giveaway!

When the package arrived, it was thrilling.

I asked Linda, down there in Georgia, if she could hear  the squeals coming from Massachusetts as I opened each carefully wrapped gift.

They were wrapped in both pink and purple tissue paper and tied with string.

 

There were darling notecards.

And a tea bag holder, which I am using as a spoon rest on the stove.

The paper clips with pink ribbons attached are totally adorable.

The lacy edged tea towel?  Sweet. 

Packages of  wonderful herbal combinations  that Linda purchased from Diann, a fellow blogger who owns an herb business.
